Data Retention
How long PayzCore keeps logs, and what happens when you delete a project or wallet: 7-day grace period, 6-month archive, then permanent deletion.
Data Retention
PayzCore runs a daily cleanup job. It removes old log records and finishes the deletion of projects and wallets you deleted. This page lists the exact periods.
Log Retention
| Data | Kept for | Where you see it |
|---|---|---|
| Webhook delivery logs | 90 days | Payments > [payment] > Webhook Logs |
| Activity logs (account and project actions) | 180 days | Internal, used by support |
| Admin audit logs | 365 days | Admin panel only |
Older records are deleted permanently. If you need longer history (for accounting or audits), store webhook payloads on your side when you receive them.
Payments and their transactions are not removed by the log cleanup. They stay as long as the project exists.
Deleting a Project
Deleting a project goes through several steps, so a mistake can be undone:
| Step | When | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Deletion requested | Immediately | The project is deactivated. API calls with its key return 403 Project is deactivated. No new payments, no webhooks. |
| 2. Grace period | Days 0–7 | The project owner can restore it from the dashboard. Everything comes back as it was. |
| 3. Archived | After 7 days | The project is hidden and no longer counts toward your plan's project limit. It can no longer be restored by you (contact support). |
| 4. Purged | 6 months after archiving | The project and everything linked to it (payments, transactions, addresses, webhook logs, settings) are deleted permanently. |
Deleting a Wallet
A deleted wallet is archived immediately (there is no 7-day grace period) and permanently deleted 6 months later.
Deleting a wallet in PayzCore does not touch your funds. PayzCore never had your private keys; the coins stay on the blockchain in addresses you control. Keep your seed phrase to access them. See Sweeping Funds.
Deleting Your Account
When you request account deletion, API calls for your projects return 403 Account is no longer active. right away. Contact support as soon as possible if you want to cancel it; only support can restore an account.
